Robert Edward Ashby was born in Escondido, CA in 1990. He was diagnosed with autism at an early age. Raised by his mom Michelle, he has an older brother, Jesse, and a younger sister, Rachelle. He is a new uncle to his nephew, Rocky. Robert's family had many struggles and challenges throughout his life.
Robert has a big loving heart and a caring soul, along with an amazing imagination. He has always loved superheros, and Stan Lee was his favorite writer of them all. Robert would love to turn his book into a comic book series as well. He also loves anime.
He wants to live in a world where dragons rule because they protect the innocent and take on the evil that wants to destroy. When Robert was a teenager, he came up with his character, Strike Dragon. This is just the beginning of all the story that he has memorized in his head. There will be much more to come.
Robert is a client of the San Diego Regional Center. Through their program with Options For All of San Diego, Robert has been learning to read. His day people, Taylor R. McElroy and Derek E. Shelton, were very beneficial in helping to type up the story.
He wants to be able to one day help his family. He also dreams of helping others who have autism.
Robert is a firm believer in always doing what is right and being kind!
