Rada was born in Transylvania, only ten miles from Dracula’s Castle. Growing up with vampires (and communists) taught her that humans are sneaky, but you can always trust dogs and books.

She immigrated to join her American husband, then studied medicine and worked in the ER and on cruise ships for years, but she still speaks like Dracula’s cousin.

Her thrillers feature Dr. Emma Steele, a not-so-young ER doc with a moody teenage daughter, a fickle ex, and a deep thirst for wine. If medical stuff and serial killers turn you on, check out her ER Crimes series. Overdose, Mercy, and Poison will keep you guessing with non-stop ER action, while Do Harm, See Evil and Take Lives will take you cruising with a lot of shady characters and show you the cruise ships’ dark side.
