Dr. Mihir Bhatta

Mihir Bhatta (M.Sc., Ph.D., PGDPHM, FCRSD, FSASS.) is a scientific worker in the field of viral research, public health, and epidemiology, especially in human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) and viral hepatitis research. He along with his co-workers published numerous research articles in national and international journals and books. He is an alumnus of Presidency College, Rajabazar Science College, Maulana Azad College, and Calcutta University. He has completed his Ph.D. from Kalyani University. His research work is based on viral research, computation, Bio-Statistics, GIS techniques, animal science, public health, epidemiology, ecology, and Environment. After completing his Ph.D., he joins health research under the Government of India.
