Michael Richarme Ph.D.

Katie McClain Richarme and Michael Richarme own The Dancing Rabbit Gallery, which focuses on authentic Native American art from the American Southwest. The Gallery has been around since 1980, and they took it online only in 2012. They travel around the Southwest learning about the cultures, the peoples, and the art of different groups of Native Americans. They produce online exhibitions and companion books for these exhibitions, as well as operate the online gallery. Katie's interaction with Native American artists goes back to her early childhood days, as her family lived in the Southwest and interacted frequently with Native Americans. She is a frequent judge at juried Native American art competitions, and is sought as an expert in the different product categories carried by the Gallery. Her husband Michael, as he laughingly says, "carries things." A retired marketing executive and retired college professor, Michael accompanies Katie on their many adventures.
