I've been fortunate to spend 20+ years working in technology-related roles in Financial Services, including IT Audit, IT Risk Management, Incident and Problem Management, and Crisis Management. During that time, I took an unpaid sabbatical to fulfil a personal ambition to write a thriller. After General Electric Capital (GEC) significantly downsized in order to achieve their strategy of having their regulatory designation as a non-bank Systemically Important Financial Institution (SIFI) removed, I was made redundant in April 2017. I set myself up as a Management Consultant which has enabled me to pick my assignments and focus on writing. The Lensky Connection is my first book and the geopolitical thriller I hoped I could realise. I am working on a sequel.
