Jayanth Dev

Jayanth Dev is an independent Sanskrit researcher and author based in Bangalore, India. Writing under the Investigator-Author identity, he decodes Hindu Shastras by returning to primary Sanskrit sources rather than secondhand retellings.

He began studying Sanskrit texts independently at age 13. Two decades of that self-driven study now form the backbone of his work, examining itihasa and Puranic narratives through the original verses rather than popular paraphrase.

Jayanth is the author of the Dhantasura Trilogy, an epic-inspired series exploring the Asura path to God, along with I Met Parashurama and Escaping the Unknown. His content brand, Dharma Decoder, carries the tagline "What your pandit does but never explains" and has built a 100k+ following across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

Outside his research and writing, Jayanth runs Popupster, a digital marketing and web development agency he has led for over 15 years.
