Aurelio Coronado Mares

Doctor in Psychology and Master in Forensic Sciences from the Autonomous University of Aguascalientes, author of books, protocols and articles on topics related to femicide, sexual violence, state crimes, torture, social prevention of violence and crimes against human rights defenders . He participates as a forensic investigator in cases involving vulnerable people and human rights violations. In his career he has collaborated in training, consultancy and program design for the United Nations (UN), the German Cooperation Agency (GIZ), the International and Ibero-American Foundation for Administration and Public Policies (FIIAPP), the Agency for the United States for International Development (USAID) and the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation (SCJN). His work focuses on the development of a forensic psychology with a human rights perspective. He collaborates with different Universities and Organizations in the United States and Latin America.
