Anthony Bartley

The weird and unusual has fascinated Anthony Bartley since he was a three-year-old scamp listening to his grandmother tell stories of monsters, ghosts, and carnival sideshows. In those early formative years, he had a crush on the Bride of Frankenstein, wanted to be the Wolfman, and thought the Blob looked delicious. His award-winning first novel, Freakshow Summer, tells the tale of a young boy growing up in a 1930s traveling carnival sideshow.
