Tracey Horner

I am from the North East of England, and I live with my husband and 3 sons. I have always had a love of poetry, and writing poems is a real passion of mine. More recently, after my sons were born, and after reading hundreds of children's books, I decided to become a self published children's author. A lot of my writing was inspired by being a parent, but particularly after my oldest son was born. He was born in 2012 and suffered a hypoxic brain injury, which resulted in a cerebral palsy diagnosis.

Suddenly I became an advocate for this beautiful little boy. It became my mission to raise awareness of additional needs, and to also try and make his world a more inclusive place to live.

Children are curious and inquisitive. If we teach them love and acceptance, if we raise awareness of all the wonderful and unique people in the world, then I believe it will be a happier place to be.
