Roger Collins is a clinical psychologist and professor emeritus at the University of Cincinnati where he received that university’s Cohen Award for Excellence in Teaching. His psychology courses were known for including novels, short stories, and autobiographies to enrich the topics under study. He then started writing creatively, in addition to his academic publishing, and his short fiction and short drama were published in a variety of literary journals. His one-act and two-act plays were produced in Cincinnati and Dayton, Ohio, Fort Thomas, Kentucky, in Brooklyn, NY and San Francisco, CA. His debut novel, “Cities of Glass,” was published June, 2022 by All Things That Matter Press. His journey from academic to creative writing has been personally fulfilling yet challenging, and he is thankful for all the generous help he received from friends and pros along the way.
