James P. Bourke

Born in Chicago, Illinois on May 18,1958 James Philip Bourke grew up in Maywood, Illinois.

In1969 his family moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he spent 6 years of his teenage life as a Floridian. He was moving back and forth to Chicago, Illinois where his older brother lived.

He attended North East High School in North Lauderdale. He also attended Central Y High School in Down town Chicago in 1973.In 1979-80 he attended Laney colleges in Oakland Ca. He has been playing and singing in public since 1977.He has traveled all over the world as traveling minstrel.
