Michael is an attorney in Houston, Texas. When he is not trying out new cocktails or reading books about history, he enjoys woodworking with hand tools, driving standard transmission automobiles, watching bad movies, making sure dogs (especially golden retrievers) know how special they are, and spending time with his wife and daughters. He firmly believes sparkling wine is not a substitute for Champagne, the book is usually better than the movie, and Die Hard (20th Century Fox 1988) is a Christmas movie.

Lawyerly Libations is his first (and perhaps only) book. He has no website, blog, or podcast to his name. He is neither a bestselling author nor has he ever been the keynote speaker at a major function. But he does believe if Nicholas Cage can win an Academy Award® for Best Actor, you can accomplish anything you set your mind to . . . within reason.
