Sharon May

Sharon May is a writer, translator, and photographer. She guest edited Out of the Shadows of Angkor: Cambodian Poetry, Prose, and Performance through the Ages and In the Shadow of Angkor: Contemporary Writing from Cambodia. She worked in Cambodian refugee camps in the 1980s, conducting research for Columbia University’s Center for Human Rights, and was a Wallace Stegner Fellow in fiction at Stanford University.
