Steve Cleckler

A B O U T T H E AUTHOR

Dr. Steve Cleckler is a graduate of Samford University,

Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and holds an earned

doctorate from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

He is a retired instructor and student adviser from Southeastern

Bible College and Grace School of Theology. He specialized in

teaching ministry courses, such as Survey of Evangelism, Christian

Leadership and Ethics, Communication in Leadership, Principles

of Conflict Resolution, Discipleship and Ministry, Principles of

Leadership, and Ministerial Stewardship.

Having been in ministry for over fifty years, he has served in

many venues and capacities: Bellevue Baptist Church (youth and

education director), World Wide Jewish Missions (executive administrator),

Richmond Street Baptist Church (lead pastor for over

twenty-three years), Southeastern Bible College (adult education

director, instructor, student adviser), and Grace School of Theology

(instructor, student adviser). He is currently serving the Church at

GrantsMill as associate pastor and worship leader.

His long tenure and varied roles in ministry have not only

allowed him to be a constant student of the scriptures but have also

given him the time to reflect and the insight on how scriptures fit

together.

He and his wife, Natalie, are blessed with a beautiful blended

family, including five children and eleven grandchildren.
