Selena Reed first hung out in a library as a young child when she discovered there were titles other than those on the dusty prestige shelf at home or in language class. Her love for unusual stories came later, and her desire to write herself didn't blossom until adulthood. Her goal is to surprise with unusual ideas, since basically all stories have been told before. But just as a spice can change the flavor of a dish, a few ideas can make a story seem new and fresh.
