Jasmine Suntrell

Jasmine Suntrell is a Black woman, creative, activist, and unabashed eccentric hailing from the provincial town of Hammond, LA and raised in ultra-suburban Crofton, MD. Jasmine prefers to be pronounless and to primarily be referred to as Jasmine. Suntrell is an outspoken, avid, ally and sometimes member of the queer community. Jasmine idolizes Mariah Carey and is a doggedly loyal fan of the New Orleans Saints. Above all else, Jasmine Suntrell is mother to Saviour Augie.

Jasmine is the author of an unpublished children’s book on death and one self-published book of poetry that focuses on love, depression, and the inherent complexities of blackness and womanhood. The book, titled 32 Antlers, can be found on Amazon and Google Play or by contacting directly.
