Michael Leavy

Michael Leavy lives in Exeter, Devon in the Southwest of England. Get Back: The Extraordinary Adventures of Desmond Jones is his first novel and was inspired by his love of music and of the Beatles in particular. Wouldn’t it be great if you could travel back in time and see the Beatles when they were starting, or when they made it big and what if you could somehow influence events – the possibilities are endless. This is what made him decide to start writing the book a few years ago.

Michael worked for many years as a Learning and Development Manager for Royal Mail, work which included design and delivery of many training courses. He likes reading - novels and biographies (often about Beatles or other musicians) and other interests include playing guitar and piano, playing golf and following Exeter City Football Club.
