About The Author

Luciano Ramirez is a retired high school teacher, counselor, administrator, and University of California Riverside Adjunct Professor. He grew up in an 200-acre family farm in Elfrida, Arizona. His family moved to Douglas, Arizona when Luciano was 6 years old. He holds a Bachelor of Science from Northern Arizona University, Master of Science in Counseling from California State University at Fullerton and completed two years of doctoral work in educational administration at University of Southern California. He retired in 2007 after 38 years in the California Educational System. He and his wife Tonia reside in southern California. They have raised four daughters and helped raise six grand kids. They have one furry friend, “Louie, Louie,” yes, just like the song. One other furry friend, “Frida Carlota,” a Yorkie-Shitzu mix crossed the Rainbow Bridge two years ago.
