Brian Cameron is a 911 dispatcher with nearly two decades of time on the console. His love of emergency services began as a small child riding with Dad to both fire and EMS calls in a small volunteer agency in the Fingerlakes region of New York. In 2002, he signed up as a volunteer with his local fire department. At the suggestion of his department's deputy chief, he applied for a position and was hired as a 911 dispatcher in 2005. He continued volunteering as a firefighter until 2013 when life shoved him into a U-Haul trailer and moved a thousand miles.
Since moving out of New York, Brian has continued to work as a 911 dispatcher, trainer, and supervisor.
He currently resides in the Kansas City area with his wife Jennifer and three obnoxious cats. In his free time, he enjoys outdoor hobbies, photography, and the shooting sports.
