Ace Volkmann Simpson

Ace Volkmann Simpson is Professor of Human Resource Management and Organizational Behaviour at Brunel Business School, Brunel University London. He also serves as Research Advisor to the Center for Positive Organizations, University of Michigan, and Research Council Member with the Compassion Shift Initiative. Ace’s research is concerned with positive organizational behaviors of humble leadership, team psychological safety and generative paradox. His main research focus is on organizational compassion which is currently studying as an interdependent process of compassion-givers and compassion receivers coordinating the conservation and replenishing of resources to address workplace suffering. As has published in top tear management journals such as Academy of Management Review and Journal of Management. Ace is co-author of the Elgar Introduction to Organizational Paradox Theory (Edward Elgar, 2021) and Positive Organizational Behavior (Routledge, 2020) and author of Leadership Lessons from the Bhagavad Gita (Sage, 2020).
