Alexander Luthy

Alexander Luthy's love for fiction started as a young toddler where he would read his parents bedtime stories, notably I am a Bunny and Train Stories. As he grew older, R.L. Stine's numerous Goosebumps series and works by Stephen King influenced him down a path to the horror and thriller genres, where he wrote a multitude of small stories throughout his school-age years that started his writing journey. Wanting to jump in sooner rather than later a few years later, Alexander opted to do the Running Start program to graduate high school with a diploma and an Associate's Degree at the same time, which allowed a Bachelor of Arts in English to be achieved at the age of 20. His favorite books include Stephen King's "Misery", Agatha Christie's "And Then There Were None", and Jennette McCurdy's "I'm Glad My Mom Died."

Outside of books, Alexander's favorite fiction works include the video games Until Dawn and Life is Strange, and the films Friday the 13th and Scream. Ironically, video games are his favorite medium that stories are told through because you are in control of what happens within the world even if books allow you to visualize a story's world for yourself, and directly controlling a protagonist allows for utmost immersion. The medium of books is ranked second.

Alexander Luthy grew up and resides in the Pacific Northwest state of Washington, which has had its own set of influences ranging from the mystical scenery, to the bountiful things to see and do, and to the phantasmagorical aura it delightfully radiates.
