Kendra Abbott

Kendra is a professional nature photographers, science communicator and outdoor enthusiasts based in Birmingham, AL. Kendra is an ecologist and focused on endangered species and conservation issues much of her career. Among the many projects Kendra is currently working on, they are revising the Peterson Field Guide to Insects of North America and published a field guide to the Common Insects of Texas. She has had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout Latin America, Africa and other parts of the world where she enjoys taking photos of pretty much anything in the natural world. She feels lucky enough to be able to teach and excite others about the amazing biodiversity she has been able to observe through their travels and photography together.
