I am a semi-retired emergency medicine physician in Southern California after 37 years of ER work. I also retired from the Uniformed Services (NDMS) in 2020 after 19 years of being a disaster reservist. I play 5-string banjo, theremin, and musical saw, but extremely poorly, and people and animals take flight. Love wood turning fancy cups and bowls and writing humor-sci-fi-fantasy short stories with a twist. Initially published my first 20 tales in "Bats, Rats, & Alley Cats" in 2005 in paperback form using a different publisher. In 2022 I republished "Bats, Rats, & Alley Cats" on Amazon with a newly self-designed cover in Paperback, Hardcover, and Kindle, and also published a second book of 30 funny sci-fi stories with a twist on Amazon which I named "Bats, Rats, & Alley Cats Too." This is also available in Paperback, Hardcover, and Kindle. All books as well as the Kindle edition contain one silhouette picture at the end of each story drawn by me.
