Jack Widman

Jack Widman obtained a PhD. in mathematics from Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT. As an undergraduate, Jack majored in Latin and Ancient Greek. After getting his PhD in Mathematics and then teaching for a year, Jack moved into programming. Today, after 25 years of work as a professional software engineer, Jack enjoys looking into ways of applying Mathematics to programming and is particularly interested in Functional Programming. Jack also writes and records original music.
