Dr. Steven Brooks

As an author, I dive into facts and weave them with fiction to embellish intrigue, drama, action, and suspense. My SKOTOS DARKNESS is a mix of incredible historic discoveries coupled with the intrigue of how and why crimes against humanity were ignored. The foundations of my character and life experiences flow into each story. I have a history of special military and law enforcement: joint terrorism task force, SWAT, biological warfare, and surveillance.

As professor emeritus educator, my academic research and education have refined my philosophy, which leads and contributes to pedagogical leadership, management, and learner success. I am a change agent who promotes the dynamics of instruction coupled with transactional and transformational methodologies, which collaborate and align with historical and contemporary philosophies.

I promote educational excellence via the integration of human and technological assets from business and educational enterprises. My diverse interrelation skills and experiences complement my organizational, leadership, interactive, and pedagogical qualities while refining my professional insight, foresight, vision, and objectiveness; encapsulating and contributing to my professional development and scope of understanding within the dynamics of education and related philosophies.

My professional experience includes educator, curriculum designer, researcher, and project manager for the United States Army Medical College, University of Texas Adult Education, United States Health and Human Services (HHS), and the United States Department of Defense.

My education includes: AAS Computer Programming, BS Criminal Justice, Masters Education, Masters Instructional Design, and Doctorate Education and Management.
