Dr. Steven Brooks

As an author, philosopher, researcher, and Minister, I dive into facts and weave them with fiction to embellish intrigue, drama, action, and suspense. My SKOTOS DARKNESS SERIES is a mix of incredible historic discoveries coupled with the intrigue of how and why crimes against humanity were ignored. The foundations of my character and life experiences flow into each story. I have a history of special military and law enforcement: joint terrorism task force, SWAT, biological warfare, and surveillance.

I have a large array of children's books. My most recently published material is titled "Nursery Rhymes with Jesus." It's an excellent, large-print, large book that brings families together, as well as your relationship and faith in God.

As professor emeritus in educator, my academic research, coupled with five college degrees ranging from associate to doctorate have refined my philosophy, which directs and contributes to pedagogical leadership, management, and learner success.

I am a change agent who promotes the dynamics of education in life and in faith via my diverse interrelation skills and experiences, which complement my organizational, leadership, interactive, and pedagogical qualities while refining my professional insight, foresight, vision, and objectiveness; encapsulating and contributing to my professional development and scope of understanding within the dynamics of education and related philosophies.

My professional experiences include: paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division, Federal agent with United States Immigration, Federal agent with United States Customs, SWAT technician, educator, curriculum designer, researcher, and project manager for the University of Texas Adult Education Police Academy Instructor, United States Health and Human Services (HHS), and the United States Department of Defense - United States Army Medical College and the United States Air Force Air Education and Training Command.

My education includes: AAS Computer Programming, BS Criminal Justice, Masters Education, Masters Instructional Design, and Doctorate Education and Management.
