Jorge Redmond

Jorge Redmond was born and raised in Asheville, N.C. and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which is where he met his long time friend and co-author Ali Kamanda. After graduating with a degree in Communications with a concentration in Media & Film production, he traveled to Africa and France before returning back to Asheville to teach and coach soccer at his alma mater. In 2008, he we went to Atlanta to attend law school at John Marshall and graduated and passed the Georgia Bar in 2011. Jorge initially spent time in the private sector as a real estate attorney before working in the public sector as a city solicitor and then as a juvenile prosecutor. In 2016, he returned home again and is now practicing as an Assistant District Attorney in Asheville as well as teaching in the legal department as an adjunct legal instructor at South College.
