Joel Phillips

Joel Phillips is an accomplished entrepreneur who serves as CEO of Proshark and founder/director of Strategic Advisory Board. Through both roles, Joel welcomes opportunities to help others launch and develop their own businesses, drawing on experience with digital marketing, software/app development, data, analytics, and cyber security. He’s known for building and inspiring teams using a competitive and cooperative foundation to foster new ideas and imaginative solutions. Listening and asking “why” are at the core of his character as are integrity and perseverance.

With diverse professional experience that spans several industries, Joel is a member of MENSA, as well as Microsoft and CISCO certified. Before starting his own company, he served as Senior Project Manager for 4G Development where he managed over 30 commercial construction projects from entitlement to completion. He previously launched and ran his own web-based subscription platform offering distressed assets, valuation, lending, and other associated services to the public. His resume also includes work with Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment, eAssist Global Solutions, American Loans, Inc., and ELNT, Inc.

When he’s not working, Joel enjoys family, flying (he’s a licensed pilot), sailing, playing/mixing music, golf, and biking.
