Sven O. Barthel

Sven Barthel writes practical non-fiction for people who want to get organised, decide more clearly, and act on their goals.

For more than 15 years he improved processes in international companies, most recently as a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. At some point he applied those same structured methods to a personal question: why do so many capable, intelligent people get stuck on their own follow-through? That question led to "Don't Say Tomorrow", a systematic look at the causes of procrastination. He knows the subject from the inside too, as a former master procrastinator. The book first appeared in German as "Das Prokrastinator-Handbuch".

He is also co-author, with Nina Lipphardt, of "Jobsharing Guide", a practical handbook on job sharing for the German-speaking market.

Sven Barthel has lived and worked in Bangkok since 2019.
