Tamra Simpson

Tamra Simpson is a first-time children’s book author. She has had a love for writing and creative expression since she was a young child. She looks forward to creating a series of children's books titled Tori’s Stories. Tori’s Stories will explore the many adventures of Tori, covering a variety of topics such as friendship, kindness, and social-emotional learning skills. Tamra aims to teach, entertain, and inspire readers to feel empowered and valued. Additionally, she is curating a collection of stories that celebrates diversity & underrepresented narratives while building community.

Tamra is a wife and a mother of two young energetic children who love to read and create adventures. Her son and daughter are a huge inspiration as to why she wanted to write a children’s book series. Tamra’s classroom experiences as an elementary teacher also provided her with creative fuel.

Tamra lives in Southern California and loves exploring the cultural and natural riches of her home state. Tamra earned a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from the University of California, Riverside. Additionally, she earned a master’s degree in English Language Learning and Education Administration.
