I am a graduate of Liberty University with a Master of Business Administration, a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Management (+15), and a Graduate Certificate in Educational Technology and Online Instruction (+15).
My work experience consists of twenty years in the State Florida Court Administration, working as a Florida Registered Paralegal and Program Coordinator. For the first eight years, the job was as a Guardian-Ad-Litem Coordinator, assisting in training lay citizen volunteers to represent abused children involved in child abuse or divorce litigation. Over 500 hours of professional training were received, as part of the continuing education provided by the employer. This training helps recognize and deal with dysfunctional families, child abuse, neglect, and abandonment. Four years in Child Support Enforcement in-court litigation. Finally, as a Domestic Violence Case Coordinator in Santa Rosa County deal with victims and families embroiled in domestic violence injunction litigation.
A skill perfected frequently was the ability to see a problem from a 360-degree view. In family litigation, the children are the biggest losers. The parents are busy fighting for their rights or in defense of their honor, they forget that the children deeply love both parents. The children are grieving the death of their family and feeling insecure and afraid of the future. This is where God’s love and compassion will work!
The most outstanding achievement is the forty-six-plus years of a truly blessed and happy marriage with her good-looking Marine! He is a God-fearing man. I am so thankful God and my Marine are both Semper Fidel us!
