Tavian Brack

Tavian Brack is an American author of alternate history, science fiction, and fantasy. A lifelong reader, he spent so much time in libraries growing up that he sometimes seemed more at home among the bookshelves than in the classroom. He began writing short stories as a teenager and was inspired by authors such as Timothy Zahn, J.R.R. Tolkien, Frank Herbert, and Isaac Asimov.

Tavian’s fiction reflects his enduring fascination with history, imagined worlds, and the great what ifs of history. He's the author of the alternate history *All Out War* series which explores a world where the Second World War happens later.

With family roots in New England and Canada, Tavian holds citizenship in both countries and spent childhood summers at his grandparents’ cottage in Maine. Away from writing, he enjoys craft beer, fishing, and following his beloved Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots.
