J. Timothy Hunt is an American/Canadian writer. He is the author of eight published books who has been nominated twice for Canada’s Governor General’s Award, and four times for the Canadian National Magazine Awards. He has received two Canada Council Grants for writing and has been writer in residence three time at the Helene Wurlitzer Foundation in Taos, New Mexico.
Under the pen name Tim Beiser, he is a bestselling children's book author, with award-winning books illustrated by Rachel Berman and Bill Slavin.
