As most can plainly see, I am against writers utilizing AI to produce a written work. Stories are timeless, they have entertained us since the days of the storytellers who traveled the realm. That cannot be reproduced by a computer tirelessly running a script to pump out a novel every month or two.

I'm a Marine in heart and soul. At 68 years old, I've seen a lot of changes affect this world, some for the best, some not. We take the good as well as the bad, growing, learning, and most of all, surviving. We each seek refuge from the day's events, and one of the oldest is reading. We become lost in a world different from ours, or perhaps, in some manner, known only to each of us, it's similar. That's the beauty of reading; two people can read the same book and yet see it differently or gain a different perspective from it.
