Reshma Bachwani

Reshma Bachwani is an author, qualitative researcher, and storyteller who has spent over two decades listening to people, asking questions, and exploring the stories that shape how we learn, grow, and make sense of the world.

Her first book was a children's book, Ruhi Finds Her Princess, which encourages children to use their imagination to fulfil their dreams; the poetry collection Bas Panch Minute, and Story Chikkappa, published by Eklavya. Her forthcoming books include The Incredible Journey of India's Library Wizard: S. R. Ranganathan, to be published by the National Book Trust of India, and The Child Before the Curriculum, to be published by Atlantic Publishers.

The Questions Grown-Ups Forgot to Ask grew from conversations with children—including many with her own daughter—and from watching the remarkable questions children ask when the world around them doesn't always make sense. She hopes this story encourages families to slow down, listen deeply, and discover that some questions are worth asking together.

Reshma lives in Bengaluru with her family, where she continues to write stories inspired by curiosity, compassion, and the everyday moments that remind us what it means to be human.
