Jeffrey George

Jeff George is the owner and founder of Tao Financial and Tao Consulting LLC. With a decorated background in accounting, finance, and portfolio management, he provides small business owners with holistic financial advice and services covering a broad range of needs. Others have described it as an outsourced strategic CFO service that meets the needs of business owners as both entrepreneurs and as people.

He incorporates both personal and business goals when developing recommendations to small- and medium-sized business owners regarding major financial decisions they encounter. Examples include preparing for business expansions and transitions including building business value, planning for market cycles, budgeting and cash management, tax deferral strategies through investments, designing and managing employee savings and retirement programs, creating other executive and employee retention programs, business and personal financial planning, and private wealth management.

Prior to founding Tao Financial and Tao Consulting LLC, Jeff worked as an investment banking analyst with JPMorganChase, as an institutional investment consultant managing over $2 billion in corporate and retirement plan assets, and as a wealth manager and financial planner at a prominent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA). His formal and professional education include a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting, the Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA®) professional designation, and formal training in the areas of business valuation and business exit planning through the NACVA and the Exit Planning Institute.
