Vanessa Ireson is delighted that a honking goose, a frozen lake, a noisy tractor, or a tattered shoelace can be magical in the eyes of a child. What fun it is to spin a yarn (and perhaps weave in a tiny lesson or two) and read it with kids.

Vanessa’s debut book, “Let’s Go, Goose-Goose!” is a Mom’s Choice Awards® Gold Recipient. It is inspired by a real goose near her home in Ontario, Canada.

The dragon in her second book, “Sir Steve and the Christmas Dragon” isn’t real. (Or is it?)
