Joan Marr

Joan Marr’s favorite cupcakes are strawberry with lemon icing. Her favorite songs are the ones you can sing really loudly, and her favorite books are those that have a little magic mixed up with a little silliness—which is why she ended up as a children’s book author.

She has a degree in English from the University of Notre Dame, where she learned to properly punctuate silly thoughts on paper, and she currently lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, two kids, two cats, and one dog. She’s thrilled to report that the dog has learned to purr.
