Benjamin Darnell

Benjamin completed his doctorate at the University of Oxford. His research interests lie in seventeenth- and early eighteenth-century French history, and specifically on the impact of war on the state and its financial systems during the reign of Louis XIV (1643-1715).

He currently works in Marketing at HP Inc., using his training as a historian to generate evidence-based insights.

He lives in the UK with his wife and two young children.
