Sandy Miller has taught the Bible as Cultural History for seventeen years, on two Florida university campus’ She is presently teaching at Florida Gulf Coast University Academy in Naples, Florida. A lively lecture and discussion format stimulates enthusiastic participation from students. Open ended questions encourage students to bring differing points of view to the discussion.
Miller offers the Bible as a living, changing entity with mythological roots, a background, often verifiable from ancient history and records of archaeological finds. Miller’s lecture and discussion guides launch students on studies illuminating time, place and circumstance in which each book of the Bible is written, bringing that book to life.
She has accumulated a library of studies over the years of teaching lifelong learning. Armageddon's Only Weapon is the Sword of Truth and Rebuilding the Temple at Jerusalem is the result of that kind of teaching. Miller’s degree is from CU at Denver with advanced studies in Education and Special Education from the University of Colorado in Boulder.
