Anne Hodder-Shipp

Anne Hodder-Shipp (she/they) is an award-winning certified sex and relationships educator and dreamwork practitioner who's worked in the field of sexuality since 2007. Their candid commentary and informed perspective about sex, identity, and relationships have appeared in major media outlets, including Parents; O, The Oprah Magazine; Men's Health; Bustle; and Vice.

In addition to their private practice and public workshops, Anne is the founder of and lead educator at Everyone Deserves Sex Ed (EDSE), and leads treatment groups for clients recovering from substance use disorder, eating disorders, compulsive sexual behavior and other stigmatized illnesses. Anne also provides pleasure education and events through S3X Plus Productions, and is the CEO of Hodder Media Inc., the first sex-positive PR and marketing firm to specialize in sex toys and adult industry brands.

Most recently, Anne released their first book, Speaking from the Heart: 18 Languages for Modern Love, a much-needed expansive update to the classic Love Languages, and the accompanying Speaking from the Heart Workbook: A Practical Guide to the Modern Love Languages. In 2022, the American Association of Sex Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT) honored Anne with the Professional Standard of Excellence award.
