Nathan Dickmeyer

Nathan Dickmeyer is a writer mainly on techniques and issues in higher education administration. He has worked as a vice president for finance and administration at both public and private colleges, including City College of CUNY, Teachers College of Columbia University, and the Monterey Institute of International Studies, where he was also chairman of the international MBA program. He has been the vice president for university operations of a for-profit university holding company. He developed the TRADES financial planning model for Stanford and held a research position at the American Council on Education. He has also issued a book of poetry and a translation of a fairy tale by Alexandre Dumas. He has a B.S. degree from the engineering college of Michigan State University, an MBA from Harvard, and a Ph.D. from Stanford in Higher Education Administration and Policy Analysis. He has consulted widely and been a regular member of accreditation teams for the Western Association.
