Learning Languages Academy is the company behind Spanish Short Stories for Beginners.

They are dedicated to making language learning fun and engaging through the power of storytelling. Working from the belief that hearing stories provides an easy and natural way for the mind to store information, they help people memorize new vocabulary effortlessly, while simultaneously picking up the skills to converse in another language with a good accent.

Learning Languages Academy was built on a passion for language. Founded by a native English speaker who grew up in Hawai’i with a German father, they understand the power of familiarity with a second language, and aim to make acquisition as easy and as natural as possible.

The company’s founder understood German before they could speak it fluently, and visiting Germany frequently gave them a deeper level of comprehension, which later led to fluency. In later life, they visited Costa Rica several times with the view of learning Spanish while immersing themselves in the local culture, improving their language skills with each visit.

This ignited a passion for language learning and travel, and over the years, they have learned vocabulary in French, Italian, Japanese, Thai, Chinese, and Burmese. They have a deep understanding of the value of immersion in a language, leading them to form the Learning Languages Academy, which takes a unique and fun approach to language learning.
