Fernanda Neves

Fernanda Neves is a Communications Professional with a degree in Audiovisual and Journalism from the Universidade de Brasília, with experience in TV, Film Production, and Digital Marketing in Brazil and the United Arab Emirates. For the last ten years has been calling Dubai home, where she shares her life with her husband, a dog, and two extraordinary little kids.

In 2016, she became a mother for the first time, when she met the most transformative love: the love for differences. Her daughter was born with two amputated fingers on her right hand, caused by a rare condition called Amniotic Band Syndrome. Since then, Fernanda has delved into the universe of atypical motherhood and is on a mission to create a positive impact on diversity for a more empathetic and inclusive world.

What makes you Super? it is her debut as a Children's Book author, which aims to be a powerful tool to start conversations about disabilities and differences, visible or invisible, spreading awareness, promoting representation, and empowering tiny humans worldwide about the beauty of diversity.
