I am a chemistry and AP chemistry teacher at a Christian School in Grapevine Texas, an adjunct chemistry professor at a nearby University, and a Fellow of the Colson Center for Christian Worldview. I am also a husband and father, a covenant member of Church at the Cross, a scientist, and an avid reader. I received a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Messiah College and a Ph.D. in chemistry from The University of Toledo. After a post-doctoral fellowship in molecular genetics, I spent 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry. I moved to a career in education to stay near family around the time of the birth of my son. Besides "God, Jesus, and Other Foolishness" I have authored over 40 peer–reviewed research articles and invited reviews in the scientific literature, as well as three book chapters in science compendia.
