Ahmed White

Ahmed White is the James E. Jones Chair at the University of Wisconsin Law School in Madison, where he has lived since 2024. A graduate of Southern University and Yale Law School, he was previously the Nicholas Rosenbaum Professor of Law at the University of Colorado and has also taught at Northwestern University and Villanova University. His teaching and writing focus on labor and criminal law and he has emerged as a leading authority on the history of class violence and repression in twentieth century America.
