Eva Wong is an adventurous soul with a curious mind. She enjoys exploring the endless wonders of nature and learning about the history and culture of different places. Being raised in the South Pacific by Chinese parents who exposed her to multiple cultures while living harmoniously on the islands. She spent most of her childhood with her grandmother, who used storytelling to share family history and stories of her ancestors. After graduating from the International Studies Program at the University of Oregon, Eva returned home to Fiji to help her parents for a couple of years before going to Beijing for Chinese Language Studies on a scholarship. Living in Beijing enriched her understanding of Chinese culture and history. After that, she lived in Toronto and California before moving to Ottawa, where she spent years raising her children before her midlife awakening. Her passion for art reignited as she began her journey of becoming a professional photographer. Her mission was to empower women by capturing their unique beauty. Meanwhile, she discovered her new love for writing and stand-up comedy amid life’s turmoil. Her new mission is to empower others with her stories and sprinkle some sparkles in their lives.
