CJ Dunham

Connie J. Martin, writing as CJ Dunham, is an author, presenter, and storyteller. She has performed across five states, given creative writing presentations at local conferences and in her community, and has published two children’s stories: The Quest for Eloshidii, a fully-illustrated book, and “The Traveler,” a serialized short story for Cricket Magazine. She has published two novellas with Barbour Books, “The Last Letter” (The Secret Admirers collection), and “Castles in the Sand” (The Barefoot Brides Collection).

After a health crisis in 2017, followed by a five-year battle with Hashimoto’s and Lyme disease, CJ Dunham has returned to publish her “restless” stories: “Rabbana,” a historical, inspirational novella; Legend of Toliman, a Y/A historical adventure; and Faery Mask, book one in her historical paranormal romance trilogy, The Crying Chandelier.

Children’s stories, young adult works, and women’s fiction are yet to come. Regardless of genre, noble character traits are woven throughout all she writes. A mother of five, step-mother of four, and grandmother of twenty-three children, her quest is to create stories that not only entertain, but also educate and edify.

She loves time with family, nature, and dabbling in art.
