Hannes Liechti

Hannes Liechti lives in Bern, Switzerland, as a popular music scholar/lecturer, curator, cultural producer, and content editor. Since 2023, he works for the international platform for music research Norient as a producing manager, curator, and editor. He co-published the second Norient book «Seismographic Sounds: Visions of a New World» (2015) and co-curated the corresponding exhibition on global pop. He edited the digital publication Sampling Politics Today (2020) and published his dissertation on the culture of sampling in experimental electronica with Norient Books (2022).
