Thomas K. Murphy

I was a professor of history and government in Europe for some years. I loved it - teaching was a tremendous source of energy and accomplishment, not to mention a creative outlet. Now, I like to write in several voices, whether that of an academic or a child. The two are complementary, in my view. A child plays and an academic thinks. But academics need to play and children need to grow.
