D.C. Roffe

DC Roffe, author of Alex Lee and the Hippo Light Show, has spent most of his life dreaming up magical lands, one-of-a-kind characters, and gadgets that make life easier and fun. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, DC spent most of his youth playing sports, designing crazy inventions, sketching mythical characters and castles, and doing his best to cause mischief and mayhem. All of this mischief and mayhem comes through in DC's fun and entertaining writing style.

DC writes YA Fantasy novels with dynamic and entertaining characters as the center of his stories. DC feels the characters matter most and he does his best to bring this out in his writing. DC states, "The characters in my books are there to hold the readers hand and guide them through the magical and otherworldly places that they live. I want them to be like a best friend."

When not writing, DC enjoys sculpting, playing disc golf, inventing, riding the latest roller coasters, playing guitar, and photographing the world and all the wonderful people in it. DC's dream goal is to one day have is image created into a pop figure and a coaster named after a character in one of his books.
